Vacancy: junior buyer

We are looking for a junior buyer to strengthen our team.

About the position:

As a junior buyer you have a strong affinity with exclusive watches and you are committed to both the customer and Amstel Watches to achieve the best results.

In this position you connect the selling party with Amstel Watches. You are driven by closing deals that are optimal for both parties. Your role is not limited to customer contact: you are involved in the ins and outs of the store on a daily basis. You are a team player with a great sense of responsibility and you feel involved in everything that happens within the company.

You work together in the always dynamic world of exclusive watches. You share challenges and successes with our small, close-knit team in our family business.

Activities:

• Maintaining customer contact via email, DM, WhatsApp, telephone, etc.
• Proactive purchasing through various channels, both physically in the store and online.
• Targeted work on increasing stock, response time and customer satisfaction.
• Answering customer questions, special requests and occasionally delivering to customers.
• Taking care of shipments and associated activities.
• Participate in online sales processes, from leads to orders.
• Continuously delve into market developments within the watch sector and other developments in the field of exclusive watches.
  Contribute to the further development and growth of Amstel Watches.

About you:

• You function best in a small, close-knit team.
• You have a strong affinity with exclusive watches and the world of luxury.
• Providing service at the highest level comes naturally to you.
• You know how to combine your purchasing ambitions with excellent service.
• You have good communication skills, both oral and written.
• You have a representative appearance, positive energy and a strong team spirit.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English; other languages ​​are a plus.
• You have an MBO/HBO working and thinking level.
• Experience is not a must, motivation is.
• Providing a declaration of conduct (VOG) is not an obstacle for you.
