The Rolex Oyster Perpetual was introduced in 1945 and has since become one of the most iconic models of the Swiss house. With its waterproof watch case, the model was particularly innovative at the time and formed the basis of what we now know as the modern Rolex.

Over the years, the design has remained virtually unchanged: sleek, timeless and recognizable. The model is available in sizes from 28 to 41 millimeters and comes standard with a steel bezel. Unlike some other Rolex models, the Oyster Perpetual deliberately does not have a date function.

The technical refinement lies on the inside. The current 3230 movement – and in smaller sizes, including the 2232 – is one of the most advanced automatic movements of the moment. With a power reserve of 55 to 70 hours, COSC certification, a Parachrom balance spring and Paraflex anti-shock systems, the watch is excellently protected against magnetism, shock and temperature fluctuations.
